Central Coast Pool Surrounds will prepare the sub layers accurately with correct drainage and compaction before laying the top surface of tiles or pavers.
A great look is using tiles such as Travertine, Granite, Limestone, Quartzite and Sandstone as the pool coping and as the outer border of the pool area then fill the space in between with a poured concrete slab which then can be coloured or finished decoratively. This can save cost as you are using the slab as the finished surface rather than laying tiles or pavers over the top.
There are many choices available in ceramic outdoor tiles but if you are supplying them please check that they can be used in pool areas and weather they will survive next to chlorine and saltwater as over the years they may discolour and decay if this wasn’t the intended use. We can always help select and supply tiles and pavers suitable for pool use.
Any traffic surface in the pool area must be slip resistant, all our finished concrete work is sealed with slip resistant products to meet the Australian standard.
Have a look at our project examples and when ready call us for a pool paving or tiling cost.
